IT MADE ITS WAY HOME!!!

After about a month of waiting (see: fearing that something went wrong), my Vumo finally arrived! Almost five days early, at that! Man, people were not kidding, it sure does look like it ate mutiple bees on the way here LMAO buuuuuuuut its here and its very cute and I have spent what is probably most of my day hugging that thang. Somehow makes for a better desk pillow than most desk pillow plushies, and I have two of those already!

I also got a Sisyphus mousepad for my personal enjoyment! He sure is comfy :]

In other news, I'm beginning work on my first e-shrine! I won't say what it's for, but let it be known the series this is dedicated to is a fundamental piece of my childhood and definitely rewired my brain in multiple ways. And god, I wish I could say the same for all of its spin-offs.

Several things happened over the past couple of days!

First off, finally did a proper sit-down and watch of Murder Drones! I will say I kept the same thoughts I had about it in my first attempt that... its not entirely my thing. The humor beats often threw off any serious tones the show was trying to make, and a lot of the dialogue felt very... internet cringe, I guess? Very awkward in places and made me question multiple times if a line should have been taken out instead.

For some positives, though, The fights/violence were visually fun! They definitely improved as the show progressed, and that final episode was just. Hooooooooooooooly shit, truly achieved everyone's dream of making that AMV in their head a reality. Also Bite Me is a banger. Also nothing quite had me constantly yelling "oh my god they're so stupid and cringe (affectionate)" quite like Uzi and N did. Oh my god, they're both so silly.

AND CYN. DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED WITH CYN. OH MY GOD. Why is it when there's a cast of characters, if no other character really caught my eye, I end up getting so focused on the girls with multiple screws loose. I thought her entire presentation was just incredibly well done. Unsettling and soooo unnerving.



The other thing I got done over the past few days was finally getting my VR headset set up! I got it about... almost 3 years ago at this point, and for a while it had to be shelved due to me not having the proper specs for it (despite the fact that laptop said it was VR Ready... MSI when I fucking get you >:[ ), and then... well the rest of the time was procrastination LOL. But now that it's done, it works really nicely! Can't wait to try a bunch of games I've had my eyes on for a while! Mostly just got VRChat to start but I defs need to do more.

Well, I got it out! What a day to do it on as well lol

i have to say, was an absolute ordeal right at the last second for no reason! I wanted to try and make the update panel an iframe as well, but it just really didn't want to cooperate with me! completely messed with the alignment and targets for each panel for no goddamn reason!

But! We're here now! Hopefully doing all of this will give me another thing to add to my pretty monotonous daily routine! I will figure out a way to add stuff like those lil comment boxes and guestbooks everyone uses, feel free to send me an ask on my Tumblr if you want! I've linked it in the links channel!
